Alexandra is a writer, director, and producer raised in London by Swedish and American parents. She graduated from USC with a BFA in Film and Television Production. Her thesis film, One Small Step, which she produced, was an official selection at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, was shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Film Awards, and screened at Cannes Film Festival's American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase. Alexandra's professional credits include positions at CAA and Ryan Murphy Productions, as well as serving as a showrunner’s assistant on a David E. Kelley pilot and Liz Feldman’s Netflix series No Good Deed. Her directorial debut, So Much for Solidarity, premiered at the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival and earned a Best Female Filmmaker nomination at the Utah International Film Festival. The film was also featured as a Daily Pick on Film Shortage, selected for the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards – where it screened during the closing ceremony – and is an official selection at the Imagine This Women's International Film Festival. She has penned two pilots and a feature that are in development at Voyage Media, and recently directed her first feature-length project – shot in both vertical and horizontal formats – for the creator-first streaming platform CheraTV. After twelve years in Los Angeles, Alexandra is now based back in London and is represented by Industry Entertainment.
