Alexandra Christensson is an award-nominated filmmaker

Alexandra is a writer, director and producer raised in London, U.K. by Swedish and American parents. She graduated from USC in 2017 with a BFA in Film and Television Production. Her thesis film, One Small Step, which she produced, was the official selection for the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in 2018; was on the the shortlist for the BAFTA Student Film Awards of the same year; and screened at the American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at Cannes Film Festival in 2019. Alexandra has worked at CAA and Ryan Murphy Productions, and as showrunnerโ€™s assistant on a David E. Kelley pilot and on Netflixโ€™s series No Good Deed, created by Liz Feldman. Alexandraโ€™s directorial debut, So Much for Solidarity (2024), premiered at Oscar-qualifying festival LA Shorts Fest, was nominated for Best Female Filmmaker at Utah  International Film Festival, and was the official selection for Cannes Indie Shorts Awards, where it screened in the closing ceremony. She has penned two pilots and a feature that are currently in development at Voyage Media. After twelve years in Los Angeles, Alexandra is now based in London. She is represented by Rain LA.
